On the overall section of the cars tab, there is a tally of how the car's characteristics add up. It seems as though one of my cars is much better that the other, despite having roughly the same parts. I have double checked all the parts fixed onto the car and it looks ok. Is there anything else I am not considering? I guess no-one is looking at bugs anymore...

the tyres have a lot to do with this. if you put new tyres on 1 car and old on the other then you will see a big difference

Thanks for getting back to me. In this case the car had new tyres for its qualifying lap. I can see the same disparity in car characteristics in the qualifying page. Oh well... I will watch to see if the problem carries on when I develop a new car.

note: I know the best thing is to experiment with changing chassis etc around. The problem is that I have limited mechanic points =)

Same problem this week. I tried changing tyres around and got completely new values. Definitely seems inaccurate and arbitrary in its additions

I just tried taking the tyres off and putting them back onto a set up car. The aerodynamics went from several percent to zero - despite them being the same wet tyres. No-one else has noticed this on their cars? I will try raising a ticket then =)
