I have found the ranking to be absolutely useless and not necessarily relative to their skill at all.

I had a rank 60 designer making worse parts than a 125+ ranked one.

And a 900+ rank main driver winning races against the other who has higher stats in everything.

The rank improves as the person does more work and is more known. There are some unranked that can possibly be better than the No. 1. If a person has never worked, it doesn't get a ranking.

Higher Rank only means that they won/did well with their teams, higher divisions gaining more 'ranking points' then lower divisions. It in no way means that the top ranked in any group is the best, just the most known

And since scouts/coaches have very little impact on the success of their teams I would distrust their ranking more than most :D

My issue is not just the wages but that people moan about the new contract after they signed it and loose morale/motivation.

I know how much my team earns and how much I can pay, well known staff does not care about if a team can survive so I can not care about their feelings. I just would like an option to tell them to shut up and look for another team after their signed contract runs out or pay penalties when they urge to terminate the contract early.

At least those who already signed new contracts with other teams are not affected and can continue working with high morale&motivation ;)

I think the problem with the wanting a new contract right away is power position. If it's lower and they accept a contract of a lower amount, as soon as they sign their power position is at maximum and they demand the same money as the best paid staff.

Yeah Philip I agree with the leaving staff, I'm starting to like losing staff now :p

Just to throw it in the mix... ive had a couple of staff sign contracts and then sign another one straight away for less money, even when their power position is good. Maybe they have realised they are crap haha!
