Hello all,

I am brand new to the game and cannot make any progress in assigning roles to the personnel that I have recruited.

There names appears in the appropriate drop-down box in the Roles section of the Staff page, but nothing happens when I press the Update Roles button.

At the moment, this is effecting my ability to produce parts from blueprints and assign commercial managers to sponsorship negotiations, but I am sure that there will be other problems as I get further into the game.

Any advice or suggestions would be very gratefully received.

have you assigned them the roles in the personnel tab?

yeah thats what you havn't done yet - the staff are hired but you havn't yet set them the head designer role etc. - under personell and then the staff tab

Thanks, Dan, but I have tried this, but no luck.

I select the staff member in the drop down box under each role (Head Designer, Head Mechanic etc) but the update roles button doesn't do anything....

Tim, I noticed today that I couldn't assign the head role in the first drop down box i had. I did have a second drop down box however underneath that, and it worked if I selected them there
