Hi guys,

This is my second season in game and can expect to be the Minardiest of Minardis in Div 2.3

So, what are my goals for the season? Beyond continuing to build my team is there anything to look out for?

try not to get relegated - or accept you fate and hoard cash - plan for next season in div 3 - look to improve staff ie use your div 2 status to get better staff on board mainly designer so you can make a better car - even though you may be in div 3 again next season

I would wait for the first race, and then decide what to do. To be fair with a HQ1 and bad suppliers it will be really really hard to stay up. So if I was you, I would still wait for the first race, analyse the situation (all teams active? can I beat certain teams? Is it even possible to get at least a point?) and after that decide what to do.

If its impossible to stay up, focus on the next season, build up your team. Save money this season (less testing, no this season development) and try to get some better staff (as Daniel said, designers will be crucial).

If you have any other questions, hit me up!
Good luck!

cheers, i reckoned the way forward was a long game hire young noob staff and train them up but at the mo I'm not sure.

All my renewals have superb power positioning (prob. cos I won the div) and potential long run staff morale issues.

I like the prospect of trade offs and poor decisions. If this were a game where you do abc and win I wouldn't be bothering with it

SInce you are building up your team, get all your staff with the same personality, that way your team fit will be good!

As Lukas said, wait for the first race before working out what to do. If you can stay up, it will benefit in the long run. Other things to focus on is getting a good financial package. The more money you have, the better suppliers you can get, the better staff/drivers you can get (although you can get some good staff/drivers cheaply) and that will help you move forward.
