Simple confirmation or explanation and list of all possible reasons how and why staff/driver morale can drop.
So we can at least do something to counter it. Trying to blindly find the solution to something when we don't know what the exact question or answer is frustrating.
some clean up would be nice - inactive teams w/o division and manager which are not available for any manager should be deleted, set permanently inactive and removed from the share market - inlcuding releasing the staff and deleting all shares
the option "declare bankrupcy" should return
waiting for the new test script to be deployed on beta server
and... smart ass mode on ... we are leaving season 6 - go into season 7
job market should stay with the settings you have put in for a search after you have looked a someone and then want to go back to the job market. hope that makes sence
I'd like the race view page to start at lap 1 not the final lap, with the option to quick select a certain lap like you can switch seasons and divisions.
Right now you have to click 30 times on previous lap to get back to the start.
Otherwise the race is spoilt if you can't see it live.
Over 20+ exclusive division 1 title sponsors in section 5; yet half that in reasonably good sections 5s to be fought over by the entire Div 2 and onwards teams below.
This is just going to become a fruitless waste of time for all but about 10 teams that sign them. And then it is only down to who has the better commercial.
The pool MUST be increased with more valuable sponsors because once again the better teams can cherry pick the cream and continue extensive team spending.
I say this from a team with my sponsors already solved for this season thinking for the other teams out there struggling.
Division 3 for the most part have only 3-1s to be fought over!!
This I also don't agree with slightly since this has been implemented to add character to the sponsors since the more wealth sponsors what to expose their brand at the higher levels; which is why they are open to division 1 first then division 2 and so on!!
But it was also added since cost of running at team in division 1 is more costly then running at team in division 2 from testing cost, contracts etc..
It was also a small reward in attempt to reduce sandbagging since you receive a small reward by being able to sign wealthier sponsors as you progress up the divisions.
The difference I found from running my current team and my former division 1 team to be about $1 - $2 million in sponsorship money. Yet I was spending most if not all of that extra income on contracts with superb Drivers, Superb Designer etc.. So it really does balance out.
Doesn't solve the issue of climbing ranks just to benefit the higher tier sponsors and bringing those contracts south when you relegate. ie, having a Div 1 income racing in Div 2.
Maybe a tier sponsor length needs implementing.
Division 1 = Max 1 season deals Division 2 = Up to 2 season deals Division 3 = Up to 3 season deals etc.
contract length per division wouldn't work either, as Div 1 teams would constantly have to be negotiating for their sponsors, thus tying up a massive chunk of available staff every season, whereas Div 2 could then devote more staff to the car, and out develop Div 1 teams, thus they'd turn up and win, then the next season the next 4 Div 2 teams would turn up and win.
Division 1 = Max 1 season deals Division 2 = Up to 2 season deals Division 3 = Up to 3 season deals etc.
That would take the strategy away from signing sponsors. I currently sign contracts with sponsors knowing when better sponsors are coming available so by placing such a limit you would take the strategy away. Also remember no one wants to spend all their time trying to sign sponsors as it's a racing game after all.
While I understand that it can be frustrating I think the current system is a good complement from what Frank originally wanted.
