What could appear as an honest sibling set of teams actually has a bit more to it.

Am I wrong in thinking there is something a little fishy about these two teams?

Pastok Engines - Owner 'Nello Pomello' - Last login 6 hours ago.

Pastok Motors - Owner 'Lello Pomello'
Come on, that's a ridiculous name, and NEITHER crop up on facebook. Given their ages and the world being rife of social media, this is also odd.

Last login 6 hours ago - same as the above account! Suspicious dual activity there. It has happened before many times too that I have seen.

DOB 01 January - suspicious date often used in decoy accounts as its the first and easiest thing to click.

Both teams also seem to be cherry picking a lot of staff and signing future deals from other teams.

I suspected this being weird in season 2, before seeing other available staff locked into long term deals. How many other teams out there have staff signed to future contracts by either 'Pastok Motors' or 'Pastok Engines'?

I then checked their staff and driver lists only to find they already BOTH have all staff and driver roles FULL.

Not just that, but there are also between 15-20 SURPLUS staff in EACH TEAM right now. This doesn't include all the deals to come in future seasons.

This team is seriously hogging staff and driver roles.

Which goes back to my whiff of suspicion.

Is one of these teams simply bankrolling for the other, by cherry picking certain staff from the opposition and signing everything available to aid the others way to the top?

How many other teams share the above similarities in all the names, logins and happen to be signing all sorts of surplus staff from rivals.

It stinks massively of bogusness.

Anyone else with me on this, or am I going crazy?

20 surplus staff... think about it!

While I do find a lot of this suspicious, and I do think Frank needs to investigate urgently, I will play devils advocate and say that:

If this is the case, why have both teams built bigger HQs with development modules?

and why have they both hired the max amount of staff (175)?

and why are both pushing so hard in the championships? (both have over 130 points)

Having names so similar & the 1st Janurary birth date are so obvious isn't it too obvious? If I was cheating I would have totally different names and countries etc.

Just playing devils advocate like i say. I do believe that it is most likely cheating.

If they are siblings (too close a gap to be a father and son); then why would they both login at identical times too? Same house?

Sure... a 20 year and and a 30 year old still living together. Not likely!

They aren't 'kids' more so young adults, by which you would not expect both to login at the same time - would one likely be at work, and the other at higher education studies even if the low chance they did still live together.

Way too suspect!

It's the premium driver and staff hoarding that raised eyebrows most. Tactile!

Most of their staff and drivers are pretty crap though, looks like they were just taking advantage of the previous bargain basement prices for signing drivers/staff.

Don't think they're holding on to much of value, and some will be released soon when the contracts expire as I doubt they can renew them.

(interestingly some of the staff rankings are high, but I put this down to Pastok Motors spending 2 seasons in Div 1)

Also true, but run through a list of unavailable drivers in the market and make note of the ones they have signed for the coming seasons!

I noticed a fair few, added to what they already have.

What about the other coincidences?

looks to me like dual teaming - not allowed in itself but cant see any examples of cheating - ie swapping staff - or one team being the 'main' team and the other being used to hire loads of staff to test them out then sack for other team to sign. Either way frank needs to look into and then decide - quite possible the guy can't speak - or read English and so unaware of the one team rule

Perhaps the way this should be addressed is by raising a non public bug ticket rather than on the open forum.

Not really. That's the point of an open forum - an open concern - and an open discussion.

One man who is very busy with other priorities waiting to solve this; or sharing knowledge and insight using 10 pairs of eyes and analysis to draw a faster conclusion and thus aid Frank to deal with it quicker.
