Please, please, it's boring, when I want to sign someone a contract I cannot choose which season the contract starts

sorry but i's a bit dumb, same for sponsors, so for example if I want to sign this driver from S18 to S19 I cannot so the current system only allows 2 situation

1- allowed to move immediately : in this case if I sign him he will come to my team and it will be S15 to S19

2- not allowed to leave but abordable : in this case if his contract ends after S16 and I sign, he will be in my team S17 to S19

with the synergy stuffs and all this is not acceptable by the way this lead to personel signed but not having roles and else because the problem if we wait is that other teams takes them so with being allowed to decide when contract starts teams will feel more secured and I think it will be easier for div 3 and 2 teams to get great staff because it cost nothing for a div 1 team to hold unassigned personel but they will do it less
