Cars page *Sort parts by certain parameters (weight, aero, grip, partname,..)
*Select multiple parts and delete (check mark the parts to delete, delete, confirm)
I think both of these ideas would make it a bit easier to find parts (especially in the second half of the season, where many parts are on the cars page).
#27 by Dan Mills Might also mix up overtaking in the pits, you could see really quick stops from slower track teams; or super safe strategies that cost them. Right now its routinely 10s pits and 25s return. Everyone is within 1s of that.
You obviously haven't watched the last 2 races in Division 1, or most of the Division 1 races for the last 3 seasons or so. Most of the stops (not all) are within the same time but in most categories they are all about the same time. Granted we could do with a few mistakes in stops but they don't happen that often in real life anyway.
#31 by Dan Mills There needs to be a better display of designed parts in the inventory ready to be built.
The old system worked. The new system is poor.
I've sat on new exhausts and wings for weeks not realising the designs were done because of the silly new hover button thing we have on each design.
To be honest, I prefer the new system. At the start of the season the older one was better because visually you could see what you had and what needed to be done but after a few weeks, I find it much easier to see on this system as I don't have to scroll heavily through the page and read a load of information to get what I need. I have it all with 2 clicks and a hover.
The issue with the hover is that it can easily switch to a different part without realising; and like me, you end up building multiples of the wrong part.
Maybe we can colour code each revision of a part; or at least differentiate between new and old / built / unbuilt.
If a driver/staff wants a new contract, that should drop their power position like in real life. Because they are approaching me as a manager, not me approaching them.
The drop in powerposition should result in a cheaper contract.
That's a good idea Lukas, this should make the market less stagnant with unhappy staff in impossibly tight contracts expecting unrealistic demands. They should drop a level every 2 weeks so someone can sign them.
I'd like to offer persons who want a new contract 2 or more seasons before the current contract runs out a counter offer - like - shut up and come back in the last season of your contract - or - shut up, but you can leave at the end of the current season without paying penalty... ...
or at least a mutual termination of the contract for unhappy people would be nice (without 50% of the remaining wage)
- Colour coded or segregated built parts for next season in production menu, or a new inventory page for next year.
- Please please please ditch the hover to select option on the production page. It's very hard to navigate as the mouse has to wiggle away around and avoid the other boxes to make sure it doesn't pick another part. You only have to brush over another button and it selects that part. It's not good. A solid click (change colour) confirm two stage like development would be massively better. When you have 6 or 7 revisions and all parts are close together, the hover over idea is a mess. Any more and it will spill into three lines and landlock the parts in the middle from being selected
- A 'remove from scout queue' button on staff/driver pages, just as there is 'remove from shortlist'. Saves getting dud reports of retired folks several weeks later.
