Pitwall beta updates

Since posting the changelog in the chat on the beta was not that practical, I'll be posting updates here. This is the changelog of the beta (compared to this www-version).

* Layout: Restyled tabs
* Standings: Team name in the overview no longer includes the sponsor.
* Racescript: youth and guest drivers now use the same parts. Before they were using manually created parts which were no longer up to date with the actual parts used by teams. Now they both use the same mechanism.
* Racescript: Youth and guest drivers will try to create a grid of 20 cars. Before it was 12.
* Racescript: Guest drivers re-enabled
* Racescript: Guest and youth cars could race with suppliers that were no longer active.
* Strategy: Automatic strategy now also fits the car with tyres if the car is available.
* Parts: alternative parts selection now not only looks at part condition, but also to amount of kilometers done and still left to do.
* Parts: alternative parts will no longer select parts which have done more than or equal to 80% of their expected mileage.
* Car: assigning a part could lead to errors not being shown.
* Weekupdate: in the unlikely event of nobody doing any laps, the weekupdate would stall in the supplier impreovement update.
* Person: Condition date (injury) is now shown on the person page.
* Session: Race page navigators now take the series_id into account.
* Racescript: Performance improvements in the calculation of driver skill improvement.
* Racescript: Efficiency of the coach now plays a correct influence in how well the driver advances. The efficiency formula has also been tweaked.
* Racescript: Series now have a limiting factor on how much a driver can improve. Once he reaches the upper limit, he will no longer improve.
* Person: Layout update for the contract section which now shows the purpose of the loophole search (to break a contract).
* Person: The overall progress statistic which determines how detailed skills are is now no longer influenced by the amount of skills a staff type has. The progress statistic is now influenced by rank, races, coach and scout reports.
* Person: The overall progress statistic its values are now shown on the person page next to the skills.
* Racescript: How fast a driver can progress now depends on the series. Before it was all the same for youth races.
* Racescript: Tuned down the progress for main races so that there are less 14 year olds with maxed-out skills.
* Racescript: Persons who start the race without a strategy, will automatically get a strategy generated.
* Racescript: 10 minutes before the end of a qualification session, all the drivers who haven't qualified yet will automatically qualify if there are 2 drivers assigned. If a car is not created yet, then it will be automatically created if there is a contract with the 4 suppliers, and if the designer and mechanic points are maxed out.
* Racescript: If in a pitstop a tyre was set to "Medium" and not to an absolute id, then the tyre would not be found.
* Racescript: Removed and replaced old mechanism which would look for tyres.
* Desk: Changed appearance of effect labels so they don't look like buttons any longer. Also added "Option A, B , ..." to the options.
* Desk: News items now show the links at the bottom as shortcuts and text links.
* Strategy: The strategy calculation now takes the fuel tank size into account. If the driver is not assigned to a car, then the maximum allowed fuel is taken as a fuel tank size.
* Race: In certain situations it was possible to start with a fuel capacity which was higher than the fuel tank capacity.
* Forum: Only the General forum is now a core board. The national and private forums have been disabled, and all subscriptions to the old forums will be removed. It's no longer possible to (un)subscribe from forums in settings. These measures are taken to avoid too many boards for too few messages.
* Layout: Chat widget now also shows a forum overview if the screen is bigger than 800 pixels.
* General: Deadlocks handled in a better way.
* Track: Variations of layouts are now selectable in the track overview.
* General: Division links are now black.
* Team: Top reputations shown on "All teams" overview page. Richest teams also shown again (was also visible in older versions of Pitwall).
* Team: Teams who are not in a division (inactive teams) now get an extra reputation decrease.
* Team: Several changes in the team reputation statistic. There are now 2 stats: recent results which is what we used to have before, but also a permanent stat which does not decrease over time like the recent results. This permanent stat depends on which top 10 persons are signed to the team, the amount of races the team has done, the HQ level, financial situation and the number of titles (whereas a division 1 title counts for more).
* Team: Old personnel stat removed from page.
* Team: Junior teams are only awarded 30% of the recent results reputation score. This since they never promote and have it easier to keep winning/competing.
* Person: Junior teams can no longer search for loopholes.
* Member: Photo only showing when there is a photo.
* Cars: Updated quantity and tyre type to more UI friendly input fields.
* Drivers: Track variation names are now shown in the track records.
* Track: This season box in records now properly shows all columns.
* Person: Market wage check limit increased from a 2.5 multiplier cap to 5. Meaning that if someone else in the market of similar value makes more than 5 it is now capped to a multiplier of 5 instead of 2.5 before.
* Person: Gross salary calculation in negotiations before any multiplier is applied increased due to economic inbalance that is currently in the game.
* Coach: Coach efficiency stat is now more aggressive. Getting an all perfect efficiency will require to get a coach per series.

Frank - please could we have a list or labelled screenshots explaining what each of the new features/stats mean, what it effects and how it can be changed/improved? For example a few updates ago "power position" was added to contract talks - I still don't know if that is my power position over the person or their power position over me, or how it affects the contract talks either way. If everyone has the same clarity of information we are all on an equal footing to make decisions.

Stephen, I'm planning on making each modifier very visible. See the new drivers page or the newly updated reputation statistic for teams for example. In the past most of those modifiers were hidden, and that's a direction I no longer wish to take.
It will take some time to make it all visible, but that's my intention to do.

Power position still plays a heavy influence on the negotiations. I plan to make some changes on when a person is approachable, and to make it more visible. Since right now that's not ideal and it's quite heavy on the database to keep re-calculating it each time. So I'll try to add some more information there then.
