also to stop teams sandbagging and thinking I will just stay in div 3 , you could give a season free if you win your championship

I don't agree pay to be in division one. - but maybe pay so that if you are good enough to be promoted then you will be. so for current situation div one and two are for those that pay and are a professional team - and div 3 is for the amateur free teams.

Too messy.

Simplest solution is to iron out the bugs and satisfy the players already here.

As Richard Branson said, look after the employees and the employees will take care of the clients.

Us regular players are employees and promoters of the game. Keep us happy and the game sells itself by our word.

Adding extra things to supporter is still the best way to fund things if money had to come into it. Driver faces, more in depth track data, detailed decimal percentages on part development etc.

Ability to play the game should not depend on whether you pay or not. Either everyone has to pay, or no-one is forced to. The only thing I can see to not follow this is the free trial period to start with and that is to entice people into the game.

Can we do a survey on these forums? If 90% of players would stay then it's probably worth doing...

I will start off with say that I am one of the few that quit in the past few season but I am still loyal and interested in the game; which is why I am still active in the forums even when I am not active with a team. I didn't have enough time to play the game correctly due to the complex nature of the games development system and overall time needed to complete different tasks.

This area could be improved and would allow a much better game play aspect to the game for players that cannot be around all the time but that is off topic.

In the current form Pitwall 2.0 wouldn't make sense to go to play to pay since it would kill the community that pitwall has built over time and majority I would assume wouldn't pay to play. I am a support but this was by choice and I don't think I would play to pay unless I was getting some benefit from paying to play the game. This doesn't mean "pay to win" but simple making my task easier or opening different feature that aren't open to all players.

So I guess what I am saying is give options to pay for different things would be better then pay to play if done correctly.

Best place to start would be looking at all the teams that want instant success would be allowing some instant pay options like pay for instant HQ upgrades, Wind tunnel, R&D Center, Training center etc... This would all unlock more staff or different feature to assist in speeding up the game play for players that don't have enough time or simple don't want to wait.

I again don't have time to go into full detail about where I could see pay option through out the game and changes that could make the game a faster paced to allow more playable game for players like myself but if you want me to expand on this idea I will at a future date. Parting shot most games offer these options and make hundreds off impatience players like myself.

I like the voluntary supporter program and more the "free to play" spirit without a "pay to win". However, I'd be interested in how many active managers are around and how the amount of active managers can be increased.

besides, 1€/month is not the same on each place of the world - you might consider the Big Mac Index for making local offers.

I would not hesitate to pay the price of a Big Mac /month ;)

What you can't have is an issue when you can't pay one month for whatever reason. Family, real life, illness etc.

Would you simply lose your team?

I would pay to play if the cost to play was fairly indexed. I had no problems being a supporter while living in the UK, but now I'm in Australia its alot more to justify based on the current exchange rate. The App Store is normally a fair and justifiable indexation.

I think there will certainly be an impact on the current community, however, if the money in is invested in effective marketing and gameplay development, the community will grow again.
