Hi Frank

For the new research stuff you mentioned that the level in the future will be based on desing team.
Will this be an average of the two designers?
If I only have one designer will I potentially be able to have better stats as I don't have a jnr designer slowing the team or will it be set up that having two is always an advantage?

Nope, one designer won't be able to get a superb research level. So juniors will only be adding (albeit less than heads) to the level, not slowing down the head.

To be clear this is not the case yet. But they won't be able to reach a value as high as the team with multiple designers.

Ok, I get that. But as an estimate of course, will it be 1 skill point, 2, 5? Just a basic estimate would be enough.

Was it considered having multiple research statistics for the parts with multiple performance properties? As in the front or rear wing has aerodynamic research and grip research levels? Then it could be enabled that you develop a specialised aerodynamically focused part without affecting the grip research level as much as you would the aerodynamic research level.

The same system could be applied to the chassis as well.

No idea yet Jean, I haven't written the code yet. I also need to check how many people are able to field a good developer team.

Yep! This was considered and it is probably going to be introduced at some point (combined with the speciality of designers which I spoke about before), but I wanted to do a gradual development to phase it in more.
