Just a thought...

Rather than keep re-signing new sponsors weekly/monthly, could there not be some element of stability in the game by offering some form of extending existing partnerships?

Perhaps not ALL sponsors, but say, the Section 4 and Section 5 title ones?

If a team does well, they have more bargaining power to extend the deal and ask for more.

Or a team could do badly, and the sponsor offer to extend their deal but for a lower offer than before.

I noticed current negociations offer 'deals' to fast track progress at cut prices. Maybe the title sponsors could do the same but for staying put.

Could be good for players not having time to sit and play the commercial chase, but could have faster sponsors signed for the price of a reduced offer.

Just an idea :)

But in some ways singing a sponsor shouldn't be easy, its not in real life. Whilst sponsors may well stay with there teams (in any walk of life), i'm sure negotiations will still start from the ground up every time.

You can also sign sponsors a full season out so I don't think this is needed per say. Interesting idea though!!
