are you suggesting that you can continue with S2 chassis for S3 if you don't make a new chassis? Maybe it was just a typo, but you wrote IF you design a chassis

(not trying to be funny, just to clarify)

Nope, yopu have to design a new chassis for S3. You can choose not too but you wont be able to race until you have.

Just to clarify since I was even confused by your comment Tom!! LOL!!

You need to develop a new chassis but it can be based on the current chassis to reduce time. You cannot upgrade a chassis into season 3.

Chris, you don't need to finish the evolution designs before the update. You just have to start them.

I have stupidly pressed to finish my next year chassis before it was fully completed. Aware I cant go back and undo this, any idea how much it will hamper me next season?

Design a new one Allan, you have loads of time.

And unfinished chassis is unlikely to be worth the time of day, much safer to design a new one while you still have time. I actually made a similar mistake last season and just scrapped the first one completely.

Takes me 3 to 4 weeks for a new chassis. First Week it won't look like it moves, Second week it gets nearly done, 3rd week it gets to finished, and then I leave it for as long as I want before clicking finish.

So start your S3 chassis by Week 9 or 10 to be sure it'll be finished in time to test right away
