If contracts have them, do all team members automatically resign or get released? Or is there a period where the current contract can be renewed? How will we know? Is it guaranteed to leave?

If their contract has the relegation release clause, if you get relegated, then the staff members with the clause will all get released.

errr no i thought it just meant they are able to leave if another team offers them a contract or if they are unhappy and want to leave.

I didn't know it was automatic are you sure matt? - and yes it would be the same for both staff and drivers

I can't be 100% as i never give my staff/drivers the clause, but I always thought it was automatic.

I don't believe it means that they are 100% going to leave, it just gives them the option to leave if they want.

But I can't confirm this as I have never (touch wood) been relegated.

I'd like to think if morale is low, they'd leave, but high morale would keep them surely?

The low morale being a reason to activate your release clause.

It should work like football manager, if they wish to leave they can. Id assume they will become approachable if you are relegated and the clause activated, as said though they can still stay if they like.
