So I thought i would start this!!

Does anyone think Ferrari will continue form during this weekends race and what did other think about their win??

They won in Malaysia because the Ferrari looks after it's tyres so much better than other cars. And as ever the Merc chews it tyres, though it's better than it used to be.

After FP1 I though no, not a chance that the Ferrari could match Merc this week, they were 1.2s behind the Mercs, but in FP2 just now Kimi (yes Kimi, not Vettel) was 2nd and only 0.4s down on Ham.

And the commentators said, once again that on the long runs, the Ferrari was very quick and consistent. They seemed to think that if Kimi and Vettel can get a clean quali, and both be in the top 4, that it could be a 4 horse race on sunday.

The Ferraris tyres look to hold on for 3/4 laps longer than the Merc's, if they can use this to their advantage in the race then you never know. I expect Merc to raise their game and not make the mistakes they did last time. Nico is not great under pressure though I don't think so maybe the Ferraris will cause him some problems?

I'm expecting the Mercs to start on the front row, but I think one (or both!) of the Ferrari's will give him some trouble in the race...

If it's a clean race with no early safety cars again I expect Lewis to be up the road somewhere.

What I read earlier was that Ham doesn't like the harder tyres, and that the fronts go away really quickly on him. If he doesn't get that sorted, and the Ferrari's start 3-4, then they are in with a chance. Merc should win, but the Ferrari boys should be able to keep them honest and make them at least work for it

I heard and think that merc was told to give the race to Ferrari last round since all the complaints about them winning by more then 20 seconds in Australia; also fishy that Ferrari made up so much ground after one race!! Even the drivers like massa seem confused!!

So either you are going to see merc run away again at the front or a close race with merc handicapping themshelves in the name of the sport!!

Sad really to see f1 become this but I rather see merc run away with the championship and really have everyone else catching up like back in the old days!!

I also believe they should have multiple tire suppliers to make the strategy and racing better!!

But what do I know when I am North American and grew up with CART & Indy!! Lol!!!

I watched most of the Malaysian round, and Ferrari just steamrolled them on tyre wear. Merc fell back into their old tricks of killing tyres. The safety car certainly helped a lot, but I think Seb could have got there, or really close in the end without it.

Kimi got lucky with the safety car too after the shreaded tyre (i missed that, woke up for lap 8), so he was latched onto the back of the pack right away. Still I think he could have pulled 4th back again aswell, again because even with a damaged car he had much better tyre wear than the mercs.

This track is colder, but it's also still very hard on tyres, so again the ball swings a little ferraris way with tyre wear, but then back a little to merc for the cooler temps.

And as for knowledge, I've been watching since 1990 and researched further back that that also. I'm also smart enough to understand that today's F1, if the car doesn't suit your style, then forget it (Fisichella goes from almost win in Spa to almost a waste of time at Monza after he changed from FI to Ferrari).

Ferrari does look much better on longer runs suggesting less tire wear then Merc. Very impressive!! I still need to watch Free Practice but from what I read and numbers; I think Ferrari are in for a chance depending on the long runs very short runs from Merc!!
