Still having issues with Maximum Potential reached on Tyre Management. The suspension I did have it on, no longer does but I'v just revealed the Diffuser and it shows on that. I have another suspension that I created before the update that I'm still waiting on potential for before confirming it affects that one but I suspect it does.

Fatigue -0/10 ... does this mean the person is as dead as I feel?

Base morale seems very low. Key staff and drivers in my team have 1/10 or 2/10 base morale. For me this made it actually worse, since team fit was not an issue in my team.

So.. how does base morale work?

I have just translated a string saying the it is possible to manager two teams, which is the maximum. How do we do this? How does it work?

It's a new feature on BETA only at the moment. Go to Account -> Career and then Found new Junior team. They will only be able to be in Division 3 though. You can try it out here

Regarding Lukas' tracker entry:

1. To a degree I agree with you but it can get way too complicated for what is meant to be a fun internet game. It is where games need to differentiate from real life to make something playable. I'm not 100% certain on the tyre temperature thing anyway as it is going down that line. The wear of the tyres along with track temps to me would have been enough.

2. I found that my best times were done when in range and not when the tyre was too low. When my tyres got too high, they were already on their way out in terms of wear but the times started getting slower and slower much quicker than before. I think this one is more affected by point 1 at the moment.

3. From my experience I lost about a second between 3/10 and 1/10. After some time on 1/10 and getting slower, I hit the cliff and lost 1-1.5s per lap instantly. For me this seems to be working.

4. Like above, I was able to do many laps on 1/10 before they exploded.

5. I found the tyre temp for a new tyre started off the same every run. A used tyre would start where it finished the last stint.

6-9. I can't comment on yet as we had no dry running.

I should have added that I only did test dry tyres. All of the points mentioned are refering on dry tyres.

1. I am okay with it being not 100% realistic, as I agree it should not be overcomplicated. But getting the tyre temp curve right should not make things more complicated in my opinion. If the temp curve stays like it is, I would prefer a different method of displaying it: just show low, range, high with no degrees next to it. It will seem more realistic that way.

2. Dry tyres temps start in range or high. Only one set of hards, which I used on save/70 started in low, but after 4 laps they were in range again. Mediums start in range, softs start high. Tyres do get slower, but for me it was in the 0,5 seconds range within the best lap - or in some cases, the fasted lap has been done at the end of the stint (especially hard tyres & correct settings). Best lap times are usually done in the high temp range, which makes me feel like it has nothing to do with performance but only with higher wear rates.

3. Not on dry tyres. There is no real cliff, tyres just keep getting slower, but not that dramatic.

4. Are you talking about grip or condition? I was talking about condition. Only hard tyres seem to break after 1 or 2 laps on 1/10 condition. M and S break on the first 1/10 condition lap.

5. Some hard tyres had different starting temps - same settings, same car, same driver but different setup focus (1-5). That only affects hard tyres, mediums and soft start always the same.

Regarding your answer in the tracker: I agree, I dont have a full accurate picture, I only have the data for my car, my tyres ect. Thats why I wanted to start a discussion here. But I still thought it was a good idea to start a tracker entry, since dry tyres definitely need balancing in my opinion.
I did 45 stints with the same driver and I've got a pretty reliable picture. The findings might be different from team to team, but I only expect the figures to shift upwards or downwards. The general trend will be (I guess) the same all across.

Both. I did 50-odd laps or so on 1/10 grip and at least 10 laps on 1/10 condition.

There are several variables in the game regarding this and you alone cannot test them all. Far better to have the discussion first and then see what the common thoughts are and report that. As we can't edit the tracker entry, what people will see is the actual entry and not necessarily everything else around it. I trust Frank to read around more but others may take what you say as gospel as it is in a tracker report. Problems written in that report also say things like "Always, with no exception" when I have proved there is exceptions and there was no mention of it being only dry tyres there, except for items 6-9.

You maybe right about them on dry tyres but I have no idea considering our first week was inters needed (and I only used the tyres I ordered before the update so they didn't work with the update) and the second week was wet tyres. Our test session this week is dry but I only have limited running so I won't have all the details from dry tyres. Therefore my opinion on the dry tyres is going to be limited for a while.
