Some people are getting progress whilst some arent. So i would think the people that are getting progress is because franks generous levels have dropped down enough, those who havent seen progress may be more that the research is stopping it from falling rather than making it rise.
Most of my parts seem to have dropped to very bad and are staying there
" Based on the skill of your designer and how many developers you have assigned to the research project, the level will slowly increase until it reaches the skill of the head designer."
My parts appear to have reached that level. Research level drops if I start a brand new part and then gets back up if I research that part. And they pretty much match the level of my designer.
Ok, I just dropped two levels developing a suspension part down to BAD rating. This afternoon I put researchers on it with no other developers on anything.
Guess what?
It's now up to UNSURE in a matter of hours.
I think you are all trying to develop as well as research and expect it to happen fast. Do one, then the other, keep switching.
System works, you just need to put everything on one aspect to see quick results.
Thanks for the tip Dan, I will try to avoid running a research project and development project concurrently on the same part and see if it has an impact.
Suspension rating now up to Okay from Bad as expected.
Guys it does work. I won't give away how many I used, but I have no other dev projects going on and it has proved to increase by 2 values in less than 12 hours.
Anyone confirm the same by doing EXACTLY as I have?
i haven't done any research apart from 2 times but have seen increases when i have - and yes this was without developing the part - i also suspect it helps to have tested the part to reveal potential first as i have noticed that in goes up faster after this has been revealed - but i haven't tested this theory
