Season 44 Recap
This seemed popular last season, so welcome back. I had planned to make it a little more detailed and get it published earlier, but i was unsure if the incorrect promotions/relegations would be changed. With the fact we're nearly in week 3, i'm guessing not now.

Suppliers and rule changes
My new section to expand this recap, first of all, we have UltraTec leaving in the engine department and MecTec and CrystSpeed joining. UltraTec leaving seems unlikely to dramatically affect things as there’s plenty of mid-tier choices for engines, though it could expand the gap between the engine giants and cheaper options. MecTec and CrystSpeed offer nice options for those looking to save money, or those who will have an easy season, helping to catch up for future seasons.

We have Stick Grip leaving for tyres, this will likely have the effect of creating a tyre “monopoly” where the majority of teams will stick with Round, Pointer being the cheaper option for division 3 or the quieter division 2s

Fuel is turning into a literal monopoly, Malchro leaving and only Ultraf will stay

For Brakes, nothing has changed.

Rule changes have engines and brakes going back up to 10 and 20 respectively, allowing for slightly more use of them across the course of the season if anyone found 8 engines to be restrictive.

Division 1
The most dominant season in recent history, Renttu won every race except 1 and never finished off of the podium. Paolonio Racing was the only other winner, notably getting their first win in 5 seasons. Of the 4 new entries to the division, El MayoGP, R3, Sutton and JP Suave, JP Suave managed to score their maiden Division 1 points and avoid relegation.

Our new arrivals to division 1 are; Arrows GP, in their 3rd time in division 1, but first under a new manager, Panda Race and Arun Roughneck are both on their first ever time in division 1 and Silver Cosmos, their first time in division 1 on only their 3rd season in the game, though with an admin error, meaning they should have stayed in division 2.

Division 2.1
Arrows dominated here, with 9 1-2s, but the new teams had a lot of success too. Dinger Zoomie got their first points and podium in the first race, MasSalaatikko also got their first points in race 1 and podium 2 races later and win in the finale. 5 different teams got podiums in total, despite 2 of the podium spots being taken by Arrows most of the season and 9 teams got points in total.

Division 2.2
A second season of extremely tight competition, 4 different race winners, 3 different teams led the championship at some point, 7 different podium finishers and 9 teams with at least 17 points. Silver Cosmos got their first division 2 points, podium, win and nearly won the championship all in their first season and YMSF got their first podium in 3 seasons and the drivers championship went into the final round with 3 points separating the top 3 drivers. Like the incorrect promotion, sadly Proton Racing were wrongly relegated.

Division 2.3
Things were a little calmer here, 6 active teams, all of who scored points, including Fucho F1’s maiden division 2 points. 4 different temas got a podium over the season and with a comfortable 8 wins and 14 podiums Panda F1 should have had a season to get ready for division 1

Division 2.4
Also a competitive division with 4 different race winners, as well, including Arun Roughneck’s and Chaos Pudding Tanks first wins in division 2. Moneytron ACS got their first division 2 points, successfully avoiding relegation for the first time

Division 3
Some of the teams relegated last season who are heading back up to division 2; Tycoon R. Inc in 3.6, KOD Racing in 3.8 had a comfortable season ahead of returning team, Warp Engine in 3.10 will also be back to division 2. Bals Racing in 3.12, Equipe Renault Elf 3.13 and Hiero GP 3.15 both also had comfortable seasons ready for promotion.

Welcome to our new or returning managers in charge of Perder Corse in 3.8, Arrows in 3.13, CJ Motorsport in 3.4 and most notably we can expect Andrea Moda Formula to go to division 2, the new hope of previous division 1 champion. Tycoon R Inc managed to grab a tight division 3 title. Warp Engine and Kod Racing both having an easier time and returning to division 2
