Adam: A superb designer doesn't mean you will suddenly get a superb car. There is more to it than that.


Are you sure? I have done a lot of testing and I can tell you that this game in the way of development seems very complex but the basis of the system is very simple.

While you are correct an superb designer alone will not get you an all superb car; you are much more likely then if you have a very good or excellent designer. Anything under these three levels and you have no chance at an superb design.

Basis for a superb car is two key elements designer and research levels; if both superb then only the unlucky won't end up with an Superb car with the +3/-3 aspect to an aggressive design.(which you really shouldn't be designing at that level). At normal you are looking at +2/-2 and conservatory you are looking at +1/-1 thus 75% chance that your car is superb.

I for one think development here is too simple and too easy so I think we are losing players based on the aspect that we really only have a limited why of being competitive. Yes, It takes time but I think we could cause a bit more mathematics to be added in perfecting our cars. A superb car should almost be unattainable.



Certain. In the 11 proper seasons + 6 BETA seasons, I've never had a superb car. I've been close but there were areas to improve on. Recent changes to development has made it harder to reach this.

I'll report next season (if the big doesn't financially ruin my team) if the superb designer theory is crucial.

I have three triple superb guys joining, so on paper, my car should be absolutely mental.

Contracts
*allowed to leave immediately not (always) working
*Autorelease landlocked staff (if a team goes bankrupt, cancel all future contracts)
*Staff should not want new contracts short after joining
*Minumum number of races feature not working
*persons with long term contracts & leave immediate clause do not want to start negotiations
*Some staff want say S16 contracts, but its not possible to select only up to S14 f.e.
*Staff wage jumping from 50k to 1.5m is way too high
*Loyalty added to the staff would be great. The longer a person works for you, the more benefits you get (wants to stay rather than change team, accepts lower wage,...)
*If 'driver/staff wants new contract' their power position should drop -> cheaper contract
*'person wants new contract' ->counter offer. or mutual termination with no remaining wage to pay, if person is unhappy and wants to go
*ability to cancel a forthcoming contract
*Power position should be influenced by races missed and by wheter the person is allowed to leave.

Sponsors
*max races missed not working
*sponsor slot locked out by ghost sponsor if lost due to races missed
*allow altering negotiation terms until progress hits 1% [#110]

*both cars can pit at the same time, penalise that (2nd car has to wait)
*get rid of pitcrew/seperate pitcrew from regular mechanics and/or

*Overtaking too hard and dependent on mistakes or massive 1.5s pace advantage
*Youth races tire bug semi fixed, tire deg got removed. tires still exploding at end of lifespan
*youth races: cars are overfueled, no optimal strategies

*add more tyres: f.e. supersoft, ultrasoft, medium

*morale boost short term: f.e. when setting fast laps during testing [#117]

*All divs should get same weather or unlimited tires

Due to the discussions in the chat I crated this wishlist, so Frank can see what updates/bugfixes/ect most important to the majority players.
That doesnt mean that he has to do so or anything, it should be an easy way for Frank to see what is top wanted without following the chat all the time.
I will keep the list updated in the first post, so feel free to state how important which things are to you.

It would be good if you pick like up to 3 or 5 things and state them clear, f.e.:

*Youth races tire bug

*staff morale bug

and so on.

And if you agree on something someone already posted, just also mention it in your own post, so I can create a 'priority list'.

I plan to collect all wishes in the first post, and I will try to put the wishes in a priority order. What most people wish will be on top and so on.

**Road Map**
Maybe a road map would be a good idea. An outline from Frank for what his plans for the game are on a rolling basis. I think it would help if we get to see what Frank is thinking to understand why this and that has or hasn't happened. We can then give feedback which can help too.

Maybe there is planned updates on areas where there are bugs. We think nothing is being done, but there is because Frank plans on making complete changes so it would be a waste of time fixing them.

**Allowed to leave immediately bug**
Fix the bug where you sign someone who can join immediately yet they don't join your team - they stay with the old team. Its an annoying bug if your relying on that staff member.

Development Bug

Development can stall meaning no progress on some parts. The time remaining on both the overview and the development pages stay the same fpr days and then suddenly get longer. The percentage on the part does not increase either.

Production Speed

Still takes way too long to build parts and therefore means users have to be around to start the next one to get things done in time, although the number of mechanics needed is better.

Pitstops

Putting in less fuel should result in much shorter stops but doesn't at the moment. Team mates can also pit at the same time which shouldn't happen.

Racing

No overtaking in the race unless a car makes a mistake or is 1.5s faster than the car in front. The value should be reduced to half a second or so but it's still not a guaranteed overtake. More overtaking needed when cars are less than that advantage as well as drivers can sometimes do the perfect manoeuvre or divebomb but at the moment we don't see any of this leading to trains forming.

Is that with dev of parts or research for future seasons?

About pitting the same time we can argue. Right now we do have some mechanics for car 1 and some for car 2. There are racing series out there with two pit spaces, so that should work. But in F1 they dont, so maybe for PW we could get rid of that too. Would be also interesting to have to spread out strategy.

GHOST STAFF IN ACTIVE STAFF SEARCHES
Retired staff and drivers should be removed from the active staff pool when finding people so sign.

Auto-release landlocked Drivers/Staff
If a team goes bankrupt, all contracts signed by the previous manager should reset to 1 year deals; or terminate at the end of that season.

New manager gets a team that can run right away; but those who have signed a driver a season or two in advance from that team then don't get left with a dud driver not assigned for several seasons in limbo.
