It's one level lower than what my scouts think my designer is.

Everything of mine is down to bad now. I tried researching a part and nothing seemed to happen, so im just going to try making a brand new part from it and see what happens.

Its quiet clear that next years car, not matter how hard i try, will be worse than this years.

My dev levels have gone up now after dropping.

They dropped a level or two after I produced that part, but three days later they are back up where they were.

I designed a fuel tank over a week ago. Dropped to unsure, now it's up to very good. Haven't used a single staff member to jump it up, just left it blank.

My designer is superb/superb and I've ignored everything about the new system and played the old way.

New parts are coming out as unsure research level and good at production.

Interesting to know, thanks Dan. I do know the research level goes up on its own when doing testing laps so this may have something to do with it. Either that or your designer is just a boss who needs no help being brilliant ha!

I did do a punishing number of test laps last week/week before/developing and production. I think I spent 17million over 2 weeks lmao.

What we dont know guys is the underlying level. For example a part might be appearing to hold it's level as it was at the high end of that level prior to decreases starting. A part that was in the lower end of the level to start will quickly drop down a level.

This applies with research too, it is possible to boost a part up a level very quickly if you research it as soon as it drops.

My steering system dropped from Very Good to Good while I had 5 people researching it (end of week 1).

I immediately upped the researchers to 10 to try to reverse this.

It's currently sitting at Okay, although the latest drop is undoubtedly due to a Finetune development that I initiated.

Actual part rating is Very Good.

Won't give my exact designer ratings, but both stats (reproductive and inventive) are pretty high. I also have two junior designers.

With the junior designers there you would expect things to be heading up rather than down overall, will be interesting to see how much of a part they play. Gonna be a while for me to see though as still waiting on my new headquarters...
