he wanted more money before i moved him - he is not that good! - by the way he just rejected my latest contract where i offered him everything he wanted - even head role the only thing i didn't give him was a contract till season 6 - Which he already has i made it season 9! that was it everything else was green!

My point here is i will be force now to 'pay him off' when he has a contract with me and keeping him has a detrimental effect on the rest of the team which i think is not right.

From what i have seen lately it seems the maximum research level drops when you are committed to designing a lot of parts. This makes sense as the research team will be under pressure at this point so will not be able to focus on research as much.
