That would be awesome lol! Given the history of Audi in F1 though it's 99% it will be them...

Interesting that It's Red Bull being rumored not Toro Rosso since they would be more likely in the terms that it's the second team.

So I question what would happen to Toro Rosso if the rumor is true?

Other aspect I am having issues with is the 2018 take over date yet they would own the team starting next season but run Ferrari engines? I think this is where the rumor falls a part!!

Given VW are now looking at a big lawsuit i think this rumour is now less likely to happen...

Better season for Kimi so far, close to winning in the last race but Max didn't put a foot wrong despite some heavy pressure towards the end (that kid is impressive, it has to be said!).

Not sure how well the Ferrari's will fare in Monaco though, have a feeling that the Red Bull's may be up the road and they'll have to settle for 5th and 6th :/

Kimi did do well yep. It seemed the teams were unsure of what strategy worked well in the last race, the Ferrari's were quicker but Red Bull aced the strategy with Verstappen.

Im looking forward to seeing him get involved in some scraps, the last race was a bit fortunate but im sure he will be close to a win again come the end of the season. Secretly praying he takes out Rosberg so the championship closes up a bit!

I'm rooting for Rosberg now as he has really outclassed Hamilton this season. Also Hamilton is a bit to 'gangsta' for me now

I find that Kimi is having a quiet season but a strong season when you look at his results. All being equal he is now tied with Vettel on a day he should have won but missed out with a late yellow flag by Perez crash and both Mercs clashing.

So Kimi has signed for next season; Do you think this is the right move by Ferrari?

I have read a few different articles based on his signing and based on this season results as posted above; Kimi has deserved another season to drive for Ferrari.

With the new rule changes for next season this give Ferrari two experienced drivers that can help direct and develop the car through their feedback provided about the difference cars, tires and overall performance changes.

Kimi is classified as smooth driver that like to let his car do the work so with more down force and wider tires next season this should favor his driving style more then Vettel.

Lastly Who would have replaced Kimi next season? Bottas or Perez? Both as far as I understand are under contract with their current teams. Are they a upgrade to your overall driver line up and an up grade over Kimi?

Sadly no I don't see either as an upgrade to Kimi and Kimi is a great team mate for Vettel so by keeping both you have a strong and solid drivers line up that cannot be improved next season.

Kimi has had a quiet season, but he's what now, 3rd in the title chase? He's the current closest to the 2 Mercs, so yes, he deserves another season, he also deserves a better car. Would be nice if Ferrari can build a car that isn't so sensitive to changes for next season, but also has a lot more mechanical and aero grip, though being Ferrari I doubt they will deliver.

Of the drivers available for next season, there isn't a single one that would be good enough as a replacement. Not speed wise, nor team harmony wise. Vettel and Kimi get on great, and work together well.

For the year after, Bottas is fast, but the Williams isn't great. Is that down to Bottas and Massa not being good enough on the feedback side, or just Williams being not good enough? Hulkenburg is fast, and sure as hell deserves a good drive, and considering the limited budget at FI, I think he'd be a fast enough replacement also. No idea if he and fellow German Vettel get on at all, but being that they are both Germans, it's probably less likely they choose him over Bottas for commercial reasons.
