This years car just shocking, terrible characteristics, terrible potential. Just built a whole brand new one. Luckily I was the only person in the division for a week or two.
To follow up on my 3 chassis approach, The design for the 3rd one was 45kgs lighter than the 1st chassis, and one of the produced chassis is 65kgs lighter than the first S2 chassis I made. If I can get a second chassis within a few kgs of that other one, I should be looking really good.
Looking at the testing times, I've got the Top 7 times at this week's track presently, and another 2 times in the top 14 (yes, I've run 9 drivers this week), and am a good 0.3s ahead of the next best car.
Not revealed the stats for this latest chassis yet, but it's looking very promising for this season
So let me get this straight that you decided to build 3 chassis this year and they use the best chassis to upgrade for the future or are you using different style of chassis at different tracks to increase performance??
I made the first chassis early in S1, so that I knew I'd have something to go testing with. Then about week 9 in S1 I made another chassis based on the one I was running at the time, but updated that chassis for week 12. I got the data for that one, and made yet another S2 chassis based on the last one.
I did a lot of that at the end of last season, made parts ready for S2 so I was good to go, but kept developing too, so had newer developments that started in the last week or 2 of the season.
Just like F1, if you stand still, you go backwards
